Qvevri wines
A Kvevri is a large earthenware vessel used for the fermentation, storage and ageing processes for traditional Georgian wine.
An ancient wine vessel found in Georgian territory around Mt. Khrami and believed to date back to the 6 – 7th millennia B.C. is thought to be the earliest example of a Kvevris, it was even decorated with bunches of grapes.
